Again, I slacked on updating Evergreen, this time managing to go for two months without an update. I’ve been through a lot lately, but this just takes the cake.

I lost one of my friends yesterday afternoon in a tragic car accident as per the link below. There’s a particular blurb to which I want to call your attention:

CANTON, Mich. (WXYZ) – An 18-year-old Plymouth High School student was killed Sunday afternoon in a two car accident on Michigan Avenue near the I-275 ramp.

Marie Friedow was driving a red car involved in the crash. She died after being transported to the hospital.

This is the same Marie on whom Evergreen’s Marie is based. She was a wonderful person and an amazing friend, one that I was fortunate enough to have known. Everyone, please keep Marie’s family in your prayers and in your hearts as they go through this difficult time. It would be greatly appreciated.

The line I used for this entry’s title is from her Facebook page, as sort of a memorial to her.

I might have a new comic today, I might not. I’m working on something for RyuFox Legends, so let’s see how things roll.

It’s been like a month or so. I have reasons for why it took this long to update, but they’d all sound like excuses at this point, so rather than going into detail, I’m going to make a conscious effort to get back into the swing of things.
